When it makes sense to contact TDI

  • The notice was mailed less than 60 days (or 30 for older policies) before expiration.
  • No reason was given on a policy issued or renewed in 2026, or the written statement wasn't specific.
  • Weather claims, unpaid claims or a coverage question were counted as claims.
  • You didn't receive the warning letter after your second claim.
